Staff Analysis of the Legislation

Revise Article 15 of Chapter 2 of Title 21. Increase the penalty associated with tampering with, damaging, or preventing the proper operation of electronic voting machines and related equipment.  Upon conviction the violator shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than one nor more than ten years or a fine not to exceed $250,000.00 or both.
